London, March 31 (IANS) Reality TV star Kevin Federline blames his divorce from pop star Britney Spears as the reason for his weight gain.

Federline says the end of his two-year marriage to the singer plunged him into depression, turning him into a couch potato, reported dailymail.co.uk.

“Everybody saw how I got divorced, it just wasn’t a good situation for me. It was tough to watch a person that you love go through all the things she was going through,” he said.

The couple got divorced in July 2007.

London, March 31 (IANS) After giving Lourdes a cameo in her directorial venture, popstar Madonna has now roped in her teenaged daughter to work on her new fashion line as she was unable to handle the workload on her own.

The 51-year-old is set to launch Material Girl, a special range of clothes for juniors under her own style empire MG Icon. Madonna, who previously created a clothing line for high street retailer H&M, is making the new label a family affair by teaming up with Lourdes and she admits the venture would not have come to fruition had she not asked her eldest child to help, reports dailystar.co.uk

“I did a line for H&M, which I enjoyed, but it was a lot of work. I thought, I don’t want to give up the rest of my careers, so I’m not going to do my own line again,” she said.

“But I have a 13-year-old with tireless energy who wanted to do this. I’ve been involved in business meetings, but Lola’s really doing the work. I just sit in the corner on my BlackBerry (cell phone)!” she added.

Lourdes will also be seen in her mom’s upcoming period drama “W.E.”

London, March 31 (ANI): Madonna landed at London’s Heathrow airport with more than 25 pieces of luggage.

The 51-year-old star looked pale and tired as she stepped off the plane from New York with her two adopted kids, David Banda, four, and Mercy James, also four.

However, the two porters who had to move the enormous pile of luggage looked far more exhausted, reports the Telegraph.

They were photographed struggling to shift two trolleys laden down with bags through Terminal 3.

Among them, there appeared to be a cold box – the singer is notoriously fussy about her food – along with suit bags and a series of Louis Vuitton cases.

Madonna lived in the UK during her seven-year marriage to film director Guy Ritchie, 41. Since their split in 2008 she has been living in Manhattan.

She is thought to have jetted back for six months while she directs her new film W.E. and is rumoured to be living in Marylebone, central London.

The film tells the story of the 1936 marriage of American socialite Wallis Simpson to King Edward VIII, who gave up the throne so they could stay together. (ANI)

London, Mar 31 (ANI): Lady GaGa was nicknamed ‘Big Boobs McGee’ at acting school, thanks to her ‘firm and delicious’ breasts.

During an interview with New York magazine, the Poker Face star admitted that she was chubbier during her New York student days, reports The Sun.

She told New York magazine: ‘At that time my breasts were much bigger, and firm and delicious.

‘I was 15 to 20 pounds heavier than I am now.

‘I would wear shirts that were low-cut and the teachers would tell me that I couldn’t wear them, and I’d point to another girl who was wearing the same thing, and they would say, ‘Well, it looks different on her.’

London, March 30 (IANS) Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet reportedly wants to move out of the New York home she shared with her estranged filmmaker husband Sam Mendes because it reminds her of all the fights she had with her ex-spouse.

Winslet, who split from Mendes earlier this year, is desperate to leave their $6 million New York mansion because she can’t stop thinking about the arguments they had since they moved there in 2005, reports contactmusic.com.

“Kate really wants to leave the apartment. She sees it as a house of horrors because of the fights she and Sam had there. She feels it is tainted,” said a source.

London, Mar 30 (ANI): Actor/director Kevin Spacey has denied reports of him approaching supermodel Kate Moss to appear in one of his upcoming London plays.

Spacey, 50, who serves as artistic director at the city’s Old Vic theatre, is said to have taken Moss, 36, out to dinner earlier this month in a bid to convince her to take on a stage role.

But the ‘American Beauty’ star has insisted on his Twitter.com page that there’s “not a grain of truth” in the rumours.

London, March 30 (ANI): Pop diva Madonna is all set to fly to Malawi to reunite her adopted daughter Mercy with her blood related family.

James Kambewa, Mercy’s father, filed a legal bid to regain custody last April (09) but could not carry on and gave up the fight just two months later in June (09).

Mercy spent her formative years in Malawi orphanage before Madonna adopted her last year (09).

According to the Sun, the singer is now flying to Malawi with the girl and another adopted child David to meet their families.

‘She promised to take them back to their homeland. She sees it as vital they understand their roots,” the Daily Star quoted a source as telling the publication.

‘Mercy’s meeting with her family will be particularly emotional as it’s the first time she’s seen them since last summer,” the source added. (ANI)

According to sources, Brown has been looking for places like clubs in New York, Miami and Las Vegas.

However, all venue holders and promoters are apparently afraid to book their place for the singer, as they don’t want to spoil their ‘potential’ relationship with Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

‘They don’t want to mess up their relationship, or their potential relationship, with Rihanna,’ the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

London, March 30 (IANS) Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is turning to the dark side, as she’s in talks to play the wicked fairy godmother in a live action remake of “Sleeping Beauty”.

New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) Pop star Lady Gaga’s music video of her much-awaited hit single “Telephone” is going to premiere in India April 7.

Featuring pop superstar Beyonce Knowles, “Telephone” is the second single from Lady Gaga’s platinum album “The Fame Monster” and will make its video debut on VH1 channel.

“What I like about it is it’s a real true pop event… When I was younger I was always excited when there was a big giant event happening in pop music and that’s what I wanted this to be,” Gaga said in a statement for the video.

Helmed by music video director Jonas Akerlund, the nine-minute video has already sparked waves with its gritty, erotic and wildly fierce visual stunningness courtesy Gaga’s dance stylings, costume design and unworldly hair and make-up.

Released on Nov 23, 2009, “The Fame Monster” is a follow-up to Gaga’s debut album “The Fame” (2008). Both the albums combined have sold 10 million copies worldwide.

London, March 29 (ANI): Supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly set to make her stage debut in ‘The Tempest’.

The 36-year-old catwalk queen is said to have landed a minor role as a nymph in an upcoming version of Shakespeare’s play.

Moss was reportedly roped in following a series of meetings and phone calls with Kevin Spacey who is overseeing the production as part of the Bridge project at London’s Old Vic.

‘Kate has had several acting lessons and is keen to broaden her horizons. She and Kevin go back a long way and they met up again last week at the W Doha bash at Chinawhite, where her part was confirmed. New York, March 29 (ANI): Rumors are abuzz that Disney has set their sights on Angelina Jolie to play villain Maleficent in their live-action adaptation of ‘Sleeping Beauty’.

The actress is rumored to be joining the project, which will retell the classic fairy tale from the evil Maleficent’s perspective, along with famed director Tim Burton.

‘It’s unclear if Jolie’s involvement would be conditional on Burton moving forward with it too,’ the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.
