MJ’s ‘heartbeat almost revived after collapse’

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

London, March 28 (ANI): Michael Jackson was nearly brought back to life after doctors recorded a brief heartbeat one hour after his collapse, it has emerged.

Medics were able to restart the star’s heart and noticed a weak pulse for ten minutes that could not be sustained after he suffered a cardiac arrest last June.

The revelation was apparently made in a lawsuit filed by the singer’s father Joe against the King of Pop’s personal doctor Conrad Murray, who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter over the Jackson’s death.

Joe, 81, accused Murray of causing his son’s death by giving him surgical anaesthetic Propofol, that was ruled as the main reason for Jackson’s death.

‘This evidence is damning. They should lock him up and throw away the key. It’s disgusting what happened here,’ The News of the World quoted Joe as saying.

A family insider added: ‘Murray’s delays and lies cost Michael his life. Why has he not been charged with murder? He failed to do his job and willingly gave Michael the drugs that killed him.

‘This lawsuit is not about what we think, it’s filled with documentary evidence from those at the scene, who saw what Murray did.’ (ANI)
