London, July 31 (IANS) Singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse’s publicist has brushed off reports that she is collaborating with Lady Gaga for her highly anticipated comeback album.

Lady Gaga is preparing to release her long awaited third album, the follow-up to 2006′s Grammy award winning “Back to Black”, after a four-year hiatus which saw her battle drink and drug problems, reports dailystar.co.uk.

A tabloid had recently reported that the “Poker Face” singer had even offered flying to London so that she could make music with Winehouse – to ensure her upcoming release is a success.

But Winehouse’s representative has refuted the rumours, insisting that the claims are “not true at all”.

Washington, July 31 (ANI): Mel Gibson’s ex Oksana Grigorieva has finally opened up about her ongoing, public battle with the actor.

Grigorieva’s battle with Gibson includes the custody fight over daughter Lucia, the harrowing audiotapes and disturbing photos alleging physical abuse.

‘I’m devastated. Everybody’s devastated,’ Usmagzine.com quoted Grigorieva, 40, as telling Radaronline in her first extended interview since the scandal broke a few weeks ago.

‘I think Mel, basically, is trivializing domestic violence.

‘It is unfair that by standing up to somebody — and speaking out — I am being victimized all over again. He has hurt so many people,’ she added.

She also explained why she taped the shocking, obscenity-laced phone calls and voicemails from Gibson that have stormed the web.

‘Because I didn’t think I was going to make it through the night,’ she said.

‘Everything, by the way, this is really important, all the tapes that you hear on the Internet, all of them were recorded that one night…The tapes, as you call them, the voicemails, everything was recorded that night because I was in fear for my life. Melbourne, July 31 (ANI): Jennifer Aniston plays a mom undergoing artificial insemination in her new flick, ‘The Switch’, to get pregnant.

London, July 30 (IANS) Actress Kate Hudson and beau singer Matt Bellamy are looking to buy an apartment together in New York.

“They’re very loved-up, they just click. Kate’s had a place in the city for five years but she wants somewhere bigger, so Matt’s suggested pooling their resources. Kate wants a studio for Matt and playroom for her son, Ryder,” thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

Bellamy recently confirmed he is dating Hudson, insisting that the romance is getting serious.

Los Angeles, July 30 (IANS) Actresses Meryl Streep and Tina Fey have been roped in to play mother and daughter in a new comedy film titled “Mommy & Me”.

London, July 30 (IANS) Lady Gaga’s fitness trainer was in for a surprise when the pop singer turned up in a quirky outfit for work out sessions in the gym.

The “Poker Face” hitmaker approached celebrity fitness guru Harley Pasternak last year to tone up her body in preparation for her exhausting “The Monster Ball” tour.

“She came to me because she wanted to find a lifestyle that was healthy and something she could handle while she was on the road. I’ll never forget the time I looked out of office door and there she was. She was dressed in a pair of 12-inch heeled boots, shooting basketball hoops,” he said.

Pasternak also revealed that he has created a line of healthy snacks to mail to the star while she travels the world, reports torontosun.com

He added, “She loves potato chips and peanut butter so I was inspired to create a line of potato chips and peanut butter bars that we ship to her wherever she goes.”

London, July 29 (IANS) The seven doctors, who were under investigation over King of Pop Michael Jackson’s death last year, will not be charged.

However, Jackson’s personal doctor Conrad Murray, who denies involuntary manslaughter, was not among the seven doctors questioned by investigators. He is accused of giving Jackson a lethal overdose of anaesthetic.

Los Angeles police had asked Californian state investigators to look into the way the doctors had prescribed drugs.

Lawyer Brian Oxman, who is representing Jackson’s father Joe in a wrongful death civil case, said he was “very disappointed”.

“The misuse of medications by Michael Jackson in the last years of his life was excessive and to fail to bring that to the public eye is ignoring reality,” bbc.co.uk quoted him as saying.

London, July 29 (IANS) A representative for socialite-heiress Paris Hilton has denied she has been paid $1 million to party with a Malaysian billionaire.

The actress-designer hit headlines in recent weeks that she’s received a hefty pay cheque to liven up Jho Low’s holiday on his yacht in France, reports contactmusic.com.

But a rep for the star is adamant the stories are not true.

“They are friends. Jho has invited Paris and her sister, Nicky, out to St. Tropez as friends. He has not paid her in any way, although he is extremely generous,” said the representative.

London, July 28 (ANI): Singer/songwriter Katy Perry has revealed that she is so scared of being accused of having bad breath that she brushes her teeth at least three times a day.

Perry, 25, who admits she was too poor to take her dental hygiene seriously when she was a child, also revealed that watching Britney Spears videos inspired her to brush her teeth religiously.

“I brush my teeth all the time. I wanted them to be, like, Britney Spears-white,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying in a new YouTube.com interview.

“I used to grow up seeing her music videos and be like, ‘What does she do? Does she get a new set of teeth all the time? They’re so white’.

The star, along with Brazilian lover Jesus Luz, is busy road-testing dancers for a gruelling six-month tour.

The tour kicks off late next autumn and is titled ‘Urban Street’.

With her own DJ – Deejay MissDi and a phone to record the videos, Madonna kicked off the auditions Louie Spence-stylee.

‘It’s going to be her biggest, most unexpected tour to date. She is going back to her New York City roots, with a street/ hip-hop feel, and wants to make it a physical, dance-heavy set of gigs,” The Mirror quoted a source as telling

London, July 28 (ANI): ‘Tomb Raider’ star Angelina Jolie was left petrified when she was attacked by a crazed look-alike fan at the premiere of her action movie ‘Salt’ in Moscow.

Jolie, 35, was grabbed by the deranged, tattooed stalker as she walked up the red carpet, but she somehow managed to wrench herself free with minders pulling the attacker away.

“Angelina looked petrified as she tried to wrestle herself from the woman’s grip,” the Daily Star quoted an onlooker as saying.

Meanwhile, fans were worried about the actress’ health when enlarged veins in her bony arms were exposed during a trip to Tokyo.

New York, July 28 (ANI): Filmmaker Oliver Stone has apologized for comments in which he claimed that Jews dominate the media and suggested that Adolph Hitler’s actions during WWII should be put “into context.”

In an interview with the Sunday Times of London, Stone compared Hitler to Frankenstein’s monster, reports Entertainment Weekly.

“There was also a Dr. Frankenstein. German industrialists, the Americans and the British. He had a lot of support…. Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people,” the New York Post quoted Stone as saying in the interview.

Stone also made reference to “Jewish domination of the media,” and claimed that Israel has negatively affected U.S. foreign policy.

In a statement issued by his publicist, Stone said, “In trying to make a broader historical point about the range of atrocities the Germans committed against many people, I made a clumsy association about the Holocaust, for which I am sorry and I regret.”

“Jews obviously do not control media or any other industry. The fact that the Holocaust is still a very important, vivid and current matter today is, in fact, a great credit to the very hard work of a broad coalition of people committed to the remembrance of this atrocity — and it was an atrocity,” the statement continued.

The American Jewish Committee released a statement Monday that lambasted Stone for “invoking this grotesque, toxic stereotype” and compared his remarks to “one of the drunken, Jew-hating rants of his fellow Hollywood celebrity, Mel Gibson.”

Washington, July 28 (ANI): Graphic photographs of Mel Gibson’s ex girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva with deep bruises and swelling around her left eye have surfaced online, it has emerged.

Radaronline has posted close-up shots of Grigorieva revealing the damage allegedly done by Gibson during a violent January 6 confrontation; the site reports that the photos were taken one day later.

Grigorieva, 40, has claimed to police she was holding their infant daughter Lucia, when Gibson punched her twice in the mouth and head, reports usmagazine.com.

The latest photos could be used as more evidence in the domestic violence investigation against Gibson, 54, currently locked in a custody battle with his former love. (ANI)

London, July 28 (ANI): R&B singer Rihanna has revealed that she agreed to duet with Eminem on his new track as she could relate to the song’s references to an abusive relationship.

The ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker lends her vocals for Eminem’s new track ‘Love The Way You Lie’ which focuses on domestic violence.

It features the lyrics, ‘I laid hands on her/I’ll never stoop so low again/I guess I don’t know my own strength.’

Rihanna admitted she instantly ‘understood’ the song because of her experiences with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown – who famously attacked the singer in 2009.

‘It’s something that, you know, we’ve both experienced… on different sides, different ends of the table,” the Daily Star quoted Rihanna as telling Access Hollywood.

“He (Eminem) pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it’s something that people don’t have a lot of insight on.

“I knew if he sent me a record there must be something to it. It couldn’t just be, ‘Oh, Duh! She was in that relationship so we have to get her.’ The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense. It’s something that I understood, something I connected with,” she added. (ANI)

Los Angeles, July 28 (IANS) Hollywood actor Mel Gibson has presented evidence supporting allegations that his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva attempted to extort $10 million to keep the recordings of his telephone rants private.

According TMZ.com, the “Braveheart” star and his lawyer reportedly submitted “physical evidence” in the form of emails and text messages to prove their case.

The former couple, which split earlier this year, has become embroiled in a bitter battle over recent weeks as they attempt to thrash out custody arrangements for their young daughter, Lucia.

However, Grigorieva has dismissed Gibson’s extortion accusations and her representative, Stephen Jaffe, insisted that his client is innocent of the claims.

He said: “To specifically address the allegations, my client, Ms. Grigorieva, has repeatedly stated that there is no credible evidence whatsoever of extortion by her, and she stands steadfastly by that statement.”

Washington, July 28 (ANI): A woman, who claims to be the late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s illegitimate love child, has filed legal documents for a share of his estate, saying that her existence was being covered up.

Mocienne Petit Jackson claims that back in 1975, 17-year-old Jackson secretly impregnated her mother Barbara, who happens to be singer Diana Ross’ sister, TMZ.com reported.

And that when she was 9-years-old, Katherine Jackson hatched a plan to “abduct” her and send her off to Belgium to protect the late singer’s reputation.

In documents she filed with L.A. County Superior Court she also claims that all 7 of her abductors were later murdered.

Mocienne, who currently lives in the Netherlands, decided to come forward with her story so she can formally claim a part of the inheritance.

She is waiting for the judge to give the go-ahead on a DNA test, and claims that she was diagnosed with Vitiligo.

She also wants custody of MJ’s kids so she can give them a “more normal life”. (ANI)

New Delhi, July 28 (IANS) One of Taiwan’s most celebrated producers, Hsu Li-Kong, wants to make “a Bollywood-type” movie. And he finds India a rich source of themes, be it the stories behind its many gods or its “tiffin culture”.

“I do hope I’ll make a Bollywood type of movie. That is one of the main aims; I have come to India this time so that I get to know what Bollywood movies are like,” Li-Kong told IANS in an interview through an interpreter.

“I am here on a survey and collecting some preliminary information. I do want to make such a movie but I don’t have any idea in my mind right now. But I would like to cast some Bollywood stars in my movie, especially the cast of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’,” he added.

Is he referring to Dev Patel and Freida Pinto who shot to fame with Danny Boyle’s Oscar winning drama?

“Yes, I’d like to cast them, but I’ll have to wait for the right script. Then only I’ll know what kind of actors I want and their characteristics. And I am sure you can find all kinds of actors in India,” said the 65-year-old.

“It will tentatively come on board after a year.”

He was on a five-day visit to the country and was the guest of honour at a retrospective of Taiwanese-American filmmaker Ang Lee’s films.

So are Bollywood musicals well-known back home?

“Obviously everyone is aware of Bollywood like Hollywood. The fact that Bollywood movies are an integral part of every Indian is a well-known fact there.

“But there are not many chances to see a Bollywood movie. These don’t come out in many theatres and are very rare. The main reason for that is the Hollywood market there is too strong. Even European movies suffer the same fate. The best way to watch Bollywood movies, however, is through international film festivals where all nations get a chance to showcase their movies,” he said.

So what fodder has he collected from his India visit?

“I found so many things interesting here like gods. There are so many gods here. There must be some story behind each and every god. That could be an interesting topic for a movie,” he said.

“Then the tiffin culture in India is very interesting. I see people carrying tiffins every time. You can easily buy a sandwich or something for lunch, but why would someone carry a tiffin? Is it just because they like to eat hot food?

“There must be some very touching story behind it within the family… may be about the wife and the husband or the mother and the son. That is something which could be very exciting to work on,” added the veteran.

Li-Kong is all praise for Ang Lee. Known for giving the latter a break in showbiz, Li-Kong produced four of Lee’s successful outings – “Pushing Hands” (1992), “The Wedding Banquet” (1993), “Eat Drink Man Woman” (1994) and “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” (2000).

The producer is now looking forward to teaming up with the Academy award winner again.

“Every year we meet to discuss projects; so it is an ongoing idea. Another film together is possible. In fact, after the success of ‘Crouching Tiger…’, Ang Lee and I had a plan to make a prequel but he didn’t want to make the same type of movie again,” said Li-Kong.

“He wanted to explore and do something very different. Even though we completed the script for the prequel, we decided to stall it and keep a more creative and innovative movie in line.

“Ang Lee is a man of innovation. He wants to do something special again which is a mental drama something like you have in Hollywood. I do hope this relationship continues in the future,” he added.

The three-day “Retrospective of Ang Lee’s Films” last week was organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals in association with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre.

Li-Kong’s future projects include a sequel to “Eat Drink Man Woman”.

London, July 27 (IANS) Disney’s computer-animated 3D outing “Toy Story 3″ has smashed records at the box office here by scoring the highest grossing debut for an animated movie.

The third and final instalment of the hit Pixar franchise pulled in $31.5 million (21 million pounds) over its opening weekend in Britain (July 23-25), reports contactmusic.com.

The huge takings make the new Toy Story the most successful animated movie ever at the British box office, as well as the second biggest British opening of all time after “Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban” in 2004.

The family film knocks Leonardo DiCaprio’s “Inception” from the number one slot, falling to number two with $6.2 million (4.2 million pounds), while “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” remains at three with $2.1 million (1.4 million pounds).

London, July 27 (IANS) Socialite Paris Hilton’s publicist has denied reports that she was giving a Nazi salute while partying on a boat in St. Tropez, France.

Hilton’s representative insisted the socialite was merely dancing while scratching under her nose.

The reality TV star has been living it up in Europe’s exclusive hot spot, partying with pals on luxury yachts in St. Tropez’s harbour, but she came under fire when party pictures of her were published, reports starpulse.com.

In them, she appeared to be marching like a Nazi with her hand in the air and her fingers under her nose, while wearing a military cap.

But Hilton’s representative has quickly dismissed the outrage, claiming the hotel heiress always dances with her hands in the air.

“Paris was dancing and having fun with her arm up in the air as she always dances like that and was scratching (her) face when a photo was taken… and the hat was a military-style hat from a club,” said the representative.
